Berry Cream Puff strain Lineage

Berry Cream Puff has been created by crossing Cake Crashers with what is most likely Joseph OG.

This combination has created a potent sativa head high that offers plenty of euphoria while also uplifting your mood.

Berry Cream Puff Taste and Aroma

When I first cracked open the Berry Cream Puff, I was immediately met with a refreshing, sweet, herbal smell, somewhat like a dank tea. However, once I actually smoked the strain, I was super disappointed; the flavor was super muted and didn’t really showcase the terpenes at all.

When you inhale, you really taste nothing except some slightly sweet and peppery notes, but they aren’t noticeable enough to really mention them.

I’ve loved Pure Sunfarms stuff in the past, and I believe they are great growers, but the flavor profile of this one needs some work, or maybe I got a bad batch.

Berry Cream Puff Effects and High

The effects of the Berry Cream Puff strain really have done a good job of redeeming this weed, even with the difficulties in the taste area. When you first inhale, you get almost a head rush before the relaxation really hits you.

This isn’t an Indica slumped reaction either, instead a more anxiety-reducing head high that can really mellow you out. I really enjoyed my smoke sessions with with weed, especially after a particularly hectic day at work but still have some errands in the evening.

This strain would be best smoked with some friends or if you are really having a rough time letting go of stress and the workday.

Is Pure Sunfarm’s Berry Cream Puff a Good Value Strain?

When I first purchased the Berry Cream Puff weed for this review, I was pleasantly surprised with the $18.48 price, as eighths can oftentimes be priced up. Not only that, it was still quite potent at a nice 25.8% THC.

Pure Sunfarms isn’t necessarily known as a budget brand by any means, but they really do make some affordable products.

Bud Quality

The Berry Cream Puff weed was quite airy and moist, which was then heightened by the 2 moisture packets in the packaging.

I had absolutely no complaints with the actual bud – not many stems, overall good bud, what more can you ask for?

Is Pure Sunfarm’s Berry Cream Puff a Strong Strain?

Berry Cream Puff is a potent sativa, sitting at anywhere from 22-28% THC on average. The batch I smoked sat at 25.7%, giving me a solid middle ground to give a review of what you can expect.

I would say that Berry Cream Puff isn’t a strain that will knock you off your feet; instead, it offers a calm rise that settles into a relaxed buzz.

That is to say, it is a strong strain, but if you are looking to get really stoned (we all do sometimes), maybe go for a different product.

Would I purchase This Strain Again?

After reviewing the Berry Cream Puff strain, I probably wouldn’t purchase the strain again. It’s still a great sativa at a sick price, but my personal weed tastes are a little bit more on the giggly upbeat side, at least when I am choosing to smoke a sativa.
